MacIvor Energy LLC’s objective is to develop and deliver Ocean Hydrillic Energy Concervation (OHEC) Units in the United States and globally. Our long-term strategy is to become a leading provider of renewable ocean-based energy worldwide. We plan to deploy 6 to 9 OHEC Units annually, scaling reliable, utility-grade power solutions.
Unlike wind and solar systems that depend on weather, our approach harnesses the ocean’s constant, controlled kinetic energy. This provides predictable, baseload renewable power. MacIvor Energy’s goal is to make ocean blue the new green energy standard.
Since 2013, our team has been advancing offshore ocean hydrillic power generation. Each OHEC Unit is engineered for continuous 24/7 operation, with designs capable of producing over 480 MWh of clean power daily. Our technology relies not on rain, wind, or sun—but on the reliable depth and power of the ocean itself.

PROJECT NEW YORK HYDRO-KINETIC PARK
“We propose building a 1 GW utility-scale ocean hydrillic energy plant using patented OHEC (Ocean Hydrillic Energy Concervation) technology to deliver reliable, renewable baseload power directly to New York City. Unlike wind or solar, OHEC leverages the ocean’s constant kinetic energy for 24/7 generation, independent of weather or daylight. Modular and scalable, the design enables phased deployment, reducing upfront risk while meeting NYC’s aggressive decarbonization goals. With a 50+ year lifespan and minimal environmental footprint, this project positions New York as a global leader in sustainable ocean-powered infrastructure.”
